LOVE (AND OTHER USES FOR DUCT TAPE) by Carrie Jones

Belle is still shaken up after her perfect boyfriend turned gay. Everyone seems to be changing around her, but her new boyfriend, Tom, doesn't seem to be changing his idea about love. And with a pregnant best friend, high school is hard to deal with.

This book examined the struggles of teenage relationships. Belle and her friends are fun to read about, and the book never gets boring or drawn out. Belle deals with the pressure many girls do to have sex while watching her friend deal with her pregnancy.

Outstanding.

LITTLE WING by Joanne Horniman

This is a story about a boy and a girl who are too young to have a baby. Emily lives with her grandma and during a flashback you see her pregnancy. Her relationship with her mother and father is not good.

You definitely get a good understanding of what it's like to be a pregnant teen. The book doesn't tell you that it's wrong, but it does show how hard it is to have a baby -- and it makes you not want to go through a teen pregnancy.

Recommended.
